Dr. Parveen Sandhu

I’m a registered school psychologist with the College of Psychologists of Ontario and I earned my Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Windsor in 2008.  Since then, I have been working in public school boards for over 10 years. As a school psychologist, I complete psycho-educational assessments, provide recommendations to teachers for student learning and consult with parents on how they can support their child’s learning. I am also a mom of three kids (age 11, 14, and 16) and I am passionate about learning and ensuring kids can reach their full potential.

“Dr Sandhu assessed my 9 year old son. He is a high achiever but his grades didn’t always reflect that. With the assessment, we now understand that our son has a learning disability. As a result of the assessment, he receives accommodations from his school that allow him to use technology when he needs it and extra time for tests. We know that our son is bright, but just like I wear glasses because I’m near-sighted, our son needs accommodations so he can truly do his best work. Dr. Sandhu is thorough and clearly communicates with parents so that they can understand their child. Our son enjoyed the time he spent with her.”
